Mentre cammini sulle terre alte sei solo con te stesso. La dimensione e lo spazio dilatano la percezione dei tuoi sensi. Il silenzio è una lieve melodia che amplifica il senso di libertà assoluta. Pian piano si disgela anche il suono della montagna. Il canto delle coturnici arroccate sopra il dirupo saluta il nuovo giorno, mentre il bràmito dei cervi in cerca d’amore nelle foreste tutt’attorno sembra quello di anime in pena condannate all’esilio.

Sulla parete rocciosa uno scovo a vista spettacolare darà l'avvio alla folla corsa del grosso maschio dal pelo nero. La nostra preda giocherà la sua partita sulla scacchiera della propria vita e già solo per questo meritano rispetto tanto le sue strategie quanto le sue debolezze.

La seguita si arrampica più volte fino alle vette rocciose più alte, per poi ripiombare verso il bosco in basso, mettendo a dura prova capacità e resistenza dei segugi. Infine dopo un'ora di seguita incalzante il grosso maschio commette l'errore della sua vita e da fine alla cacciata.

La nostra giornata si è conclusa. Il mio intimo ringraziamento va ai miei amati compagni d’avventura che sempre condividono ogni momento di gioia o avversità con passione, coraggio e dedizione; alla padrona di casa, la montagna, che mi ha accolto facendomi scoprire le leggi che la regolano; ed infine a mio padre che per primo mi ha portato in questo mondo per farmi conoscere tutto questo.

Size and space expand the perception of your senses. Silence is a light melody that amplifies the sense of absolute freedom. Slowly even the sound of the mountain thaws. The song of the rock partridges perched on the cliff greets the new day, while the roar of the deer looking for love in the surrounding forests seems like that of souls in pain condemned to exile.

On the rock face a spectacular sight will start the Corsican crowd of the large black-furred male. Our prey will play his game on the chessboard of his own life and for this reason alone, both his strategies and his weaknesses deserve respect.

The trail climbs several times up to the highest rocky peaks, and then drops back towards the woods below, putting the hounds' ability and resistance to the test. Finally, after an hour of relentless pursuit, the large male makes the mistake of his life and puts an end to the hunt.

Our day has ended. My intimate thanks go to my beloved adventure companions who always share every moment of joy or adversity with passion, courage and dedication; to the lady of the house, the mountain, who welcomed me and made me discover the laws that regulate it; and finally to my father who first brought me into this world to let me know all this.
